iWolf Technology Services delivers exceptional value for money on high performance FXO Gateways. Designed initially for SIP to PSTN connectivity this interface is ideal for use with both hybrid and legacy telephone systems.

FXO Gateways connect IP devices to traditional telephone lines to provide

1)    Failover to the legacy network (PSTN) should the internet fail or network crash.

2)    Permanent connectivity for an IP PBX system to traditional telephone lines

FXO gateways can be installed to connect multiple PSTN lines. Typically these gateways are available in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 port configurations. Multiple gateways can be used to connect almost any number of PSTN ports.

For companies with interstate or offshore offices, FXO Gateways can be used to bridge local calls with long distance callers eliminating long distance charges. iWolf FXO Gateways carry come with our standard 2 year warranty and are supported by our helpdesk and are SIP and codec compliant.

 

Analogue Telephones connected to IP PBX Systems

Analogue telephones can be connected to your IP PBX system via an FXS gateway. The iWolf FXS gateway uses the same interface card as the FXO gateway but uses a different module. The FXS gateway translates the analogue voice signal into a digital signal and compresses it into a codec, broken into a series of packets and transferred across the IP network using a signalling protocol that can be used by the IP PBX system. The iWolf FXS gateway can also make the reverse conversion to facilitate a two way conversation of the highest quality.
