Biomass Energy Solutions
How Biopower Works
Biomass is comprised primarily of plant material and animal waste. This is the oldest source of renewable energy used since the discovery of fire.
Biomass is a renewable energy source because ;
1) The energy in the mass comes from the sun
2) Biomass can re-grow over a relatively short period of time.
Plants use a process known as Photosynthesis where chlorophyll is used to capture the sun’s energy by converting carbon dioxide from the air and water from the ground into carbohydrates.
The carbohydrates can then be burned, turning it back into carbon dioxide and water, releasing the energy they initially captured from the sun.
Like all known energy sources, biopower has its environmental risks that need to be moderated. If biomass is not managed and monitored carefully, energy can be overharvested at unsustainable rates causing damage to ecosystems, produce toxic air pollution, consume a copious volume of water and cause global warming emissions.
iWolf’s biopower solutions has examined the lifecycle of carbon emissions and developed a safer more productive biomass management system.
Our research on the type of feedstock used, the way that it is grown and harvested, the scale on which it is used and the type of technology used to generate electricity from biomass has become the foundation for all our biomass systems.
Our Vision
iWolf is committed to finding cleaner power alternatives to maximise your use of renewable energy and decrease your dependency and consumption of less sustainable energy sources.

Biomass Boilers
Biomass Boilers generate outputs ranging from 0.6 to 20 MMBTU an hour by using solid biomass fuels. Our modular design offers rapid deployment and assembly, total scalability and maximum efficiency to meet your increasing energy needs. Construction time is minimal as boilers can be easily unloaded and connected to your buildings infrastructure. Energy output is easily saleable by adding additional boiler units at any time.
ORC Generators
The Heat-to-Power Solution for Industrial Applications. Our Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems harnesses heat to generate electricity from biomass fuels. If your process control vents heat greater than 130°C, and you are operating for 6,000 hours per annum or more, a Organic Rankine Cycle Generator can turn your waste heat into profit.
Micro Steam Turbines
A microsteam turbine is an environmentally friendly system that conserves resources by generating energy from steam, an often unutilised source. Microsteam turbines are a complete, self-contained power system designed to generate power from steam energy. For example, the steam pressure that is normally lost in a pressure reducing valve (PRV) can be exploited to produce electricity.
Emissions Control Equipment
Emission control systems monitor and reduce harmful by-products that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
By converting these contaminants into water vapour and carbon dioxide they can be safely released into the environment.
Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) abatement and air filtration systems have become extremely popular in the against pollution. Contaminants caught by mist collectors and other similar devices can also be recycled. Emission control systems have become a major part of the combustion and manufacturing process.
Steam Turbines
Our steam turbine portfolio spans across gas and coal applications from 102 MW to 1,890MW. Our platforms also cover a wide range of site conditions, operational needs and advanced steam applications. Steam turbines can be integrated seamlessly into any kind of power plant to assure a successful and profitable ROI.
